MONDAY 31 JANUARY<\/strong><\/p>

What a first night to officially open #IVW22<\/a>. So many venues were looking packed full of communities enjoying independent live music again, and that’s what we love to see.<\/p>

False Advertising<\/a> opened up proceedings at The Parish, Huddersfield<\/a>, bringing an infectious energy that will no doubt keep the crowd going all week. <\/p>

In the South-West, Opus Kink<\/a> played a raucous sold out show for the good people of Bristol at the Crofters Rights<\/a>. Unsurprisingly wild, and a tough act to follow for the rest of the week.<\/p>

And the South East were treated to legendary Andy Bell’s<\/a> first performance of his ‘Space Station’ set that blew Colchester away at Three Wise Monkeys<\/a>. Chelmsford, Northampton, Ipswich and Trowbridge all have the lucky chance to see it this week, and we seriously recommend you don’t miss out.<\/p>

What a day for Yorkshire! Meanwhile, the Capital gets the full force of Priestgate<\/a>, Deep Tan<\/a> and DEADLETTER<\/a> at The Social<\/a>. We told you a lot was going on…<\/p>
