Intuition Ale Works was founded in 2010 in the Riverside neighborhood of Jacksonville. After outgrowing that space, we moved to our (much larger) home in downtown Jacksonville in 2016.
A few years ago, we started talking about hosting live music in the new brewery. Music and good beer are the perfect combination, and we had some extra space that we wanted to put to good use. We invited several our favorite bands to play at the brewery, and – to our surprise – many of them said yes.
Because of that initial success, we decided it was time to create a venue specifically for live music at the brewery. We annexed an additional 6,000 square feet of space in 2019 and the “Bier Hall” was born.
