US VENUE SPOTLIGHT – Duluth, MN – The Red Herring Lounge

The Red Herring Lounge in Duluth, Minnesota was opened in 2014 and is Duluth’s premier music venue. Music is at the center of this local venue’s ethos, and it is the first of its kind in the area.

The venue is geared towards building a sense of community, hosting large events such as the annual Super Big Block Party, cocktail competitions, pop up stalls, comedy nights, and fundraising events. It is a dog-friendly venue, making it that extra bit endearing and welcoming. Of course, it also has a superb menu including one of a kind pizza and a killer cocktail menu.

The venue now hosts between 150 and 200 shows per year and has both an indoor and outdoor presence making it versatile all year round.

Many outstanding local artists have played The Red Herring Lounge such as Static Panic, Solomon, Twin Cities, Al Church, Dead Horses, Five Alarm Funk, Kid Dakota, and many more.
