Bringing community, art, and music together, Narrows Center for the Arts has been a large part of Fall River, Massachusetts for 24 years. Narrows Center for the Arts is a non – profit organization with the mission of presenting ‘music that matters and art that inspires, to engage and educate people of all ages’ in Fall River and the southern New England area.

This diverse space consists of a large performance space, artists’ studios, two galleries, a café, and an arts center.

Narrows Art Center is an all-encompassing community-driven space. Studio and gallery doors are regularly open allowing artists to come in and discuss ideas and concepts together with other like-minded individuals. Artists can also sell their creations in the space, there is often beautiful jewelry, handbags and other crafts made by locals on display.

There is a major emphasis placed on education in the center, they offer educational arts programming and are welcoming of school tours.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own food making for a more accessible experience for all and there are also often freshly baked goods available on the premises.

The Center aims to bring unique programming to their stage and the venue is home to several festivals and events such as the Spindle City Festival a free festival centered around Art, Music, Victuals, Mind, Body, and soul.

Musicians that have played Narrows Center include Birds of Chicago, The Jayhawks, Aaron Neville, Stephen Kellogg, Jesse Cooke and more.
