The Victoria Vaults venue is a 140 capacity, independent, grassroots venue in the heart of York, opposite the City Walls & a brief walk from the railway station. We provide York’s vibrant and diverse music scene with a platform for upcoming bands with great sound, friendly staff and quality beer. For the past 3 years we have gained quite a profile for young original indie/Rock/Punk bands playing every Friday and some Saturday nights. Recently, we have raised our stage, moved our bar, so it is one room, feeling more of a venue each day. As well as showcasing young original bands, the venue has had the likes of UK Subs, The Chords, Mark Burgess from The Chameleons, 999, The Lurkers, to name a few.
