Worthing’s latest addition to it’s already thriving live music scene comes in the form of The Factory Live. A 300 capacity space boasting a Yamaha sound system, a fully stocked bar, stage and club lighting system, the best green room in the region and a whole lot more.
Owner, Steve Gardner, has grown the venue from his successful Soundhouse & Dancehouse studio business. Steve and the team have an absolute handle on the space and its capabilities and promise a line up of unmissable gigs & events. These range from 80’s legend Toyah Wilcox, Stereo MC’s, The Christians, Turin Brakes, to ‘90s indie stars Space , 80’s icons China Crisis and so many more. There are also lively comedy nights planned and plenty of club action too, including top DJ sets from Judge Jules, Brandon Block, Norman Jay MBE, Krafty Kuts and many more.
The Factory Live also supports local talent, supporting rising young bands finding their feet along with the UK’s top tribute bands. It’s a space adaptable in size for a wide range of events, and it exudes energy and professionalism. “It’s such a great space,” Steve enthuses, “We put our backs into it and turned it into a purpose built live music and club venue. There can be 50 kids up onstage singing their hearts out or a five-piece band rockin’ the roof off. We have superb sound and lighting and the whole venue has been acoustically tested to get the sound perfect. I really think we can add to what Worthing is becoming.” Judging from the enthusiastic response in the area, there’s a real appetite for this. The Factory Live’s adventure is just beginning. Expect to be hearing much, much more very soon….
