The Globe is the first bar and music venue in the UK to be owned by a cooperative committed to music. Cooperative ownership ensures that The Globe will continue to be a place where people can enjoy live music in a relaxed environment and where musicians can share and develop their skills. The Globe is owned by Pink Lane Jazz Co-op Ltd, trading as Jazz.Coop. It was bought in 2014 following a successful community share issue. Over 230 people have bought shares and become members of the cooperative, and more are welcome to join.
