The Cumberland Arms

The venue at The Cumberland Arms has been a stalwart on the North East music scene for decades now. From up and coming local acts to legendary names; classical, dub, folk and punk, the venue has seen it all. The venue is popular with well-known promoters in the area and there are often 2 or 3 gigs programmed a week. The Cumberland Arms is also a regular stop for touring bands on their way to Scotland.
The Cumberland Arms is an historic building with narrow doorways, a slight step to the main entrance and step down to the toilets. There is not a DDA toilet.
