Belgrave Music Hall

Located in Leeds’ vibrant Northern Quarter, Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen first opened its doors in 1934 as Leeds Children’s Palace, a 3 story recreation hall and nursery school built to provide childcare support for the working families of Leeds. After many years of neglect the building has been restored to its former glory and reopened as Belgrave Music Hall and Canteen. Spread over three floors the venue comprises two bars, two kitchens, a 350 capacity event space and a spectacular roof terrace hosting live music, comedy, film and art exhibitions and serving fresh, canteen style food, amazing cask ales and premium, craft beers. We pride ourselves in promoting a diverse profile of artists and genres as well as supporting the incredible local music scene. Previous guests include: Stormzy, Jorja Smith, AJ Tracey, Little Simz, The Cribs, Tom Misch, Eliza, Kae Tempest, The Staves, Alvvays, Dinosaur JR, Loyle Carner, Sampa the Great.
