Coventry Central Library is Coventry’s most exciting, friendliest new all ages venue, based on the heritage site of the old iconic Locarno Ballroom, where classic bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Siouxsie and The Banshees used to wow audiences in the 70s and 80s.
Now a busy functioning public library thriving during the day, on Saturdays the library transforms its space after hours into an intimate gig venue showcased by the masterminds at Get It Loud In Libraries. Already in 3 years, names like Sam Fender, Jorja Smith IDLES and Fontaines DC have played mini classic shows to all ages audiences. All artist tech, staging and lights are hired into individual specification.
