MONDAY 31 JANUARY – SUNDAY 6 FEBRUARY 2022

#IVW22 has official begun and we’ve already been treated to some massive gigs, including some early shows from a couple of our ambassadors…

Wet Leg played a blinding night at the Joiners, Southampton last night. Showcasing a load of new tracks that whipped the eager crowd into a frenzy, they are definitely sounding ready for the rest of their IVW tour.

Our Northern Irish ambassador SOAK also performed a beautiful set at Heartbreakers, Southampton on Thursday night to an intimate audience that would have heard a pin drop between songs. We can’t recommend the rest of her tour dates more.

Further up North, Manchester were treated to a surprise last-minute gig from Squid at YES (Pink Room) on Friday 21st January. A quick sell-out was guaranteed and the lucky crowd weren’t disappointed.

We can’t tell you how excited we are to get out to independent venues all over the UK this week, they deserve our support so much so let’s get out there and really celebrate them. Even for a Monday, there is so much live music to enjoy tonight…

Franz Ferdinand open up the #IVW22 BBC6 Music tour at PJ Molloys, Dunfermline whilst at the other end of the country, Andy Bell Space Station kicks things off at Three Wise Monkeys, Colchester.
