Independent Venue Week is thrilled to be supporting 24OWLS, an independent music promoter in Singapore, and their first ever music festival undertaking, The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions. Brilliantly curated with all female fronted acts, it takes place all day on the 7th December at Singapore’s Pasir Panjang Power Station.

The Power Station was built in the 1950s and decommissioned in the 70s, rediscovered and re-loved today by being used as a venue space for both international and local artists, a deliberate move away from Singapore’s typical music venue spaces.

The festival features: Cate Le Bon, Charly Bliss, Ginette Chittick, Goat Girl, Kero Kero Bonito, Ladies of LCD Soundsystem (Nancy Whang and Rayna Russom), SOAK, Vandetta, and even more to come. Many of them are making their first ever Singaporean debut.

Everyone at IVW is excited at seeing how independent venues, promoters, and festivals run across different parts of the world.

Read more about the festival here.

Listen, and get excited by their line up below.
