Q&A – NYC based rock and roll band, Radiant Reveries

New York-based Radiant Reveries is a New York-based rock band consists of Adam Wallace (Vocals, Guitar), Karolina Wallace (Vocals, Guitar, Percussion), Graham Pence (Vocals, Bass), and Chris Heinz (Drums).

You can read more about them on Instagram @radiantreveries or http://www.radiantreveries.com/.

Which was the first venue you ever performed at? How did it go?

It was at Bowery Electric.  All the other bands playing that night were our friends so we had a lot of support and love.  Community is key.

Why do you think it’s important to support independent venues?

Because independent venues are great places to connect and build that ever important community.  Also they give artists a chance to step out of their practice spaces and bedrooms and participate.

Why did you get into music

The seed was in each of us.  No other choice…

What are your expectations for your upcoming Independent Venue Week show?

We are looking to expand our circle and go as deep as we can up there on stage.  Have some fun!

What’s next for you? Any upcoming releases, shows, etc. we should know about?

Currently, we are finishing up an album that we recorded at Velvet Elk Studios with Don DiLego and also are shooting music videos with a great lineup of up and coming filmmakers.  Getting the whole vision put together.  Next show after this Independent Music Week at Pianos is at Berlin (NYC) July 29th with Particle Kid.  Keep those eyes and ears open…
