Mohawk first opened its doors in 2006 and has since become a beloved venue and bar in the heart of downtown Austin. The venue is missioned with hosting audiences, musicians, and staff that represent all music tastes and all backgrounds, stressing that all are welcome at the Mohawk.
Before opening as a venue, the building that houses Mohawk was renovated with recycled materials and turned into a venue with two stages, rooftop access, and multiple bars.
