Set in a renovated Art Deco factory building in the University City District of Philadelphia, World Cafe Live has been offering the best local, national, and international artists on two stages since 2004.
From hosting one of Adele’s first US performances to showcasing artists such as Alabama Shakes, Graham Nash, and 2019 Grammy-winner Kacey Musgraves, World Cafe Live is known for bringing established artists to an intimate setting that is both artist and audience friendly. In addition to hosting over 500 shows annually, World Cafe Live offers excellent food and beverages daily, and hosts and caters over two hundred special events a year.
World Cafe Live shares its space with the University of Pennsylvania’s radio station, WXPN, which is known for its nationally syndicated program World Cafe. By entering their unique partnership, World Cafe Live and WXPN effectively created a clubhouse for the Philadelphia music community all while building a loyal audience base.
World Cafe Live hosted an incredible show with Bombino during last year’s Independent Venue Week, and we are very excited to have this great venue participate again this year.
