This year, we’re pleased to announce The BRITs will be partnering with Independent Venue Week. The organisation, which celebrates musicians and their work will be helping bring the project on the road this year.
We’re pleased to announce another of our partners for 2018. The BRITs will be joining us as a partner for 2018, with the organisation helping back independent venues across the UK. Most famous for their annual awards ceremony, the organisation are also involved in running The BRIT School in South London, BPI, and BRITs Trust.
Their work has always backed grass-roots artist, from their development as musicians at the school, to promoting music, diversity and talent, with their awards ceremony. The event is arguably one of the biggest in the music industry calendar and offers a chance for artists to appreciate the work they have done over the past year. Among the biggest awards are Best Male, Best Female, and Mastercard Album of The Year.
We’re thrilled to have them on board as a partner. The two organisations have long been about encouraging spaces for music to thrive.
Whilst they won’t be involved in programming any shows as part of the festival, their support helps us take tours on the road, support venues, and celebrate the diversity of music we have programmed this year. It is a partnership that we’re hoping to grow over the next few years.
