Another amazing day of celebration….

#IVW24 is in full swing with some incredible events having taken place all over the UK so far.

#IWV24 Scottish ambassador Brooke Combe played a stunning show Mac Arts in Galashiels supported by Devin Casson: two homegrown artists who no doubt both have very bright futures ahead!

The BBC 6 Music bus rolled on to the Fulford arms in York for an intimate set by NewDad with support by Leeds’ Kindelan. Next stop for the bus is the Polar Bear in Hull for #IVW24 ambassadors English Teacher!

Many more tours continued around the UK including Skinny Living gracing Canvas in Mansfield, Ist Ist at the Ferret in Preston, and Hotel Lux at the Black Prince in Northampton. We love seeing artists getting out on the road during IVW, supporting so many independent venues all in one week.

There was also more great alternative programming yesterday with film screenings such as “Stories from the She-Punks” at Soho Poly in London and “The Making of Sunbird Records” hosted by William Wolstenholme of BBC Introducing in Darwen.
