What a way to kick off #IVW24….

Local communities were out in full force to support their independent venues across the UK!

In Hebden Bridge, #IVW24 ambassadors English Teacher’s tour stopped off at Trades Club for a beautiful night that will no doubt already be one of the highlights of the week for many in the area.

Across the Irish Sea, the BBC 6 Music Tour with Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens began at the Oh Yeah Centre in Belfast for a very special show with Ash supported by Problem Patterns, just after Steve’s broadcast from the venue. We won’t be forgetting that one in a hurry! Edinburgh, look out for the bus tomorrow as it stops off at Whistle Binkies for 86TVs….

In the capital, the first of three “Beavertown Presents” nights took place at The George Tavern with Humour, Hank and Chad. Liverpool and Glasgow, Beavertown will be coming your way on Saturday for Pixey at Arts Bar Baltic and Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai at McChuills!

Lots more #IVW24 tours got on the road including CVC in Papillon, Southampton and Hinds at Boileroom, Guildford as well as so many other shows around the UK.
